Born and Raised in Caledon, Ontario Alison Iannarelli started her food service career at the age of 15 and never looked back. After working in restaurants all through high school, Alison continued to nurture her passion for learning and over her career has completed her Culinary Management Diploma (George Brown College), Master of Italian Culinary Diploma ( ICIF, Torino Italy), Food and Beverage Management Certificate ( Humber College), Certified Chef de Cuisine Designation ( CCI ) and is currently working towards a Certification in Food Science and Food Research (RCA). 

Alison is passionate about the Canadian foodservice industry and the ever-changing world of food, culture, and taste! Her earliest memories of food came from her Nonna’s kitchen. The love and pride that her Nonna put into everything she touched inspired Alison to follow her love of cooking and baking. From her first job in a small café she knew she had found her calling. 

Alison brings together her over 20 years of culinary experience working in cafes, catering, television and media, hotels, restaurants, colleges, and private clubs in both Canada and Europe and her love for education. 

Alison is now bringing her expertise, love of everything food and her passion for education and learning to the post-secondary classroom as a Culinary Professor and Baking Skills, Coordinator at Centennial College, School of Hospitality Tourism and Culinary Arts.

Alison now resides in Weston Village, with her husband and young son and will be welcoming another child in the spring of 2021.
