The Littlest Foody Seminar Series
4 stage baby food cooking seminar series designed for parents who want to add flavour and fun when starting solids. This Seminar Series will include learning about each stage, what foods and flavours to introduce, easy fun recipes that can be customized to meet your family’s needs and little ones’ tastes. When your littlest family member is ready to join the foody world why not fill it with flavour. Just because it’s baby food doesn’t mean it needs to be boring.
STAGE ONE – Introduction to Baby’s first foods and getting set up
(4-6 months *)
Stage one will start with reviewing what you need to know to get started. We will go over everything from Health Canada guidelines for babies “first foods”, nutrition recommendations from Eat right Ontario, smart tips for food prep, kitchen organization and building your pantry and freezers to include the best flavours. We will review the tools and supplies that will help you efficiently and easily to make your own baby food. And go over some great ”first food” recipes that can be prepared ahead and ready for when your littlest foody is ready to get started.

STAGE TWO – Introducing texture, flavours and new foods
6-9 months*
Stage Two we will start introducing new foods, textures and start looking into combinations and how to easily prep and prepare to easily combine and personalize your littles foody experience. We will learn two new stages two recipes that contain more texture and start to encourage participation from your little eater while building the flavour profiles.

STAGE THREE – Introducing Chunky Textures, Finger foods and Family Meals
8 months +*
Stage Three we will start introducing what we will call “Chunky” foods such as Pastas, risotto, and stews. We will discuss the importance of introducing foods that encourage self-feeding and the introduction of “finger foods”. We will learn two new stages three recipes that can easily be made ahead of time as well as we will discuss how we can take a little creativity and your everyday family meals and easily convert components to be Stage Three Baby-Friendly.

STAGE FOUR – Oh Hello Toddler! Big Kid Meals and Parents Tricks
12 Months + *
Stage Four we will start introducing fun toddler finger foods, how to incorporate your fun family dinners and quick plan ahead snacks. In this last seminar, we will look at how to feed your new busy toddler, what is easy and quick to prepare ahead and how to continue to introduce healthy food into your little foodie’s diet as they may become a little pickier as they grow into toddlerhood. We will learn two new stages four Recipes as well as tips and tricks that you can take and use throughout their toddler years.

*Important Note- All babies grow and develop differently, the stage age range mentioned during this series are recommendations and are not set in stone. Work with your baby’s readiness and doctor’s recommendations to determine when they are ready to start solids or move on to the next stage.
Once registered, a Culinarium Ambassador will contact you to confirm the order. You will receive a Zoom link for the class (you will have access to the waiting room 15 minutes prior to the starting time).
You will need to have a notebook to take notes.
The Seminar does not include ingredients that will be used during the demo class.
The virtual class is sold individually, meaning that one purchased registration is intended for one single person (or a couple) who can join and actively participate in the seminar.

Please note:
- Food Boxes will be available for curbside pickup the same day, 5 hours prior to the class
- On the day of the event, you will receive your private Zoom link via email in order to join
- Cancellation must be made at least 7 days prior to the event.
- Registration for every class closes two days prior to the event.
- Please notify us in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.
- Please note: *to consume alcohol must be able to produce valid government-issued identification to prove they are 19 or older.
- Class duration is approximate and may be longer or shorter by 10-15 minutes.
