Growing Up Italian Series: Sicily

In this class, Chef Christina will transport you to the southernmost part of Italy as we explore the rich and diverse region of Sicily. Renowned for its emphasis on fresh fruits and vegetables, Sicilian cuisine showcases vibrant, flavorful dishes that truly reflect the island’s bountiful produce. Beyond its culinary delights, Sicily also boasts some of the world’s best-preserved Greek and Roman temples, structures, and art, offering a feast for both the palate and the eyes.

Our Growing up Italian series offers a hands-on, informative exploration of Italy’s various regions, making it an ideal activity for couples, friends, and families alike.

Antipasti:

Fresh Focaccia and Eggplant Caponata (prepared alongside Chef Christina)

Secondi:

Arancini (prepared alongside Chef Christina, with two variations taught)

Dolci:

Lemon Granita served in lemons

Wine, beer, mixed drinks, and soft drinks will be available for purchase on-site. Feel free to bring your own wine for a small fee of $15.
